With an average production of 210,000 tonnes each year, Cameroon is in fifth position in the world as a cocoa producing country, after Ivory Coast, Ghana, Indonesia and Nigeria.

This is explained in particular by the recognized quality of the cocoa bean produced in Cameroon (homogeneous size of the beans, full-bodied aroma and taste, good acidity, good butter content).

Building on this reputation, at Cocoa237, we rely on two pillars: the selection of our beans and the quality control of our products.

The selection of our beans

we primarily supply beans of
1) Grade I (well fermented);
2) Grade II (medium fermented)

Quality control of our products

At a time when considerations related to food safety for consumer health are emerging as a major subject, maintaining the basic quality of cocoa presents itself both as an aspiration to integrate the world market and as a challenge to stay there

our cocoa beans are required to comply with the standards set by the European Commission.
